How Do I Request for An Advance Leave?
Advance leave may be requested by probationary or regular employees with zero (0) leave credits, either for a client holiday shutdown or for other reasons mutually agreed upon with their manager. Simply, it's a "borrowed" leave and once you have available leave credit, the advanced leave will be deducted from your available accrued leave credits.
You can request advance leave, but approval is up to your manager. We suggest reaching out to discuss your reasons for needing the leave to ensure mutual understanding. Once your manager gives the go-ahead, you can submit your request in FiltaHR. Here’s how:
- Log in to your FiltaHR account.
- Go to the Leave tab.
- Select Advance Leave as the leave type.
- Choose the Leave Date.
- Enter your reason.
- Click Submit.
Your manager will be notified by email and can approve or decline your request. Please note that in the event of separation from the company with a negative leave balance, any advance leave taken will be deducted from your final pay.
