What is Missing Logs?

Missing logs are log-in discrepancies such as such as forgetting to clock in or clocking back in after breaks or lunch, must submit this type of request within 24 hours of the incident. This request must be approved by your manager in FiltaHR

Please be reminded of the following details:

  • Any missing log should be filed within fifteen (15) days, but if it occurs after payroll processing, you must submit a ticket to adjust your salary for the next cutoff period.
  • Only approved missing logs during the vetting period will be included for payroll processing.
  • If a missing log has been filed and approved beyond the vetting cutoff, the members must file a dispute ticket in order to adjust in the next payroll run.
  • Please lookout for any payroll reminders to file any missing logs. This is to ensure that your filed missing log will be included in the upcoming payroll.

How do I file for Missing Logs?

Please follow these steps:

  • Log in to your FiltaHR account.
  • Go to the Time Entries Request tab.
  • Choose Missing Logs as the request type.
  • Select the date of your missing logs (note: you can only select one day at a time. Multiple days of missing logs would need multiple requests)
  • Indicate your actual time-in and time-out (ex: if you forgot to clock-in, indicate the time you were able to clock-in in the system)
  • If you forgot to clock back in after a break or lunch break, input the details on the "Break Logs" portion. If this doesn't apply to you, no need to input anything.
  • Add a reason for your manager.
  • Click Submit.

Your manager will get an email and can approve or decline your request. If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us!
