What is an Emergency Leave in COL?
Emergency leave in Colombia (COL) are for probationary and regular employees. It is available when they face an urgent, unforeseen situation that occurs during or immediately before their scheduled shift. This leave is designed for truly exceptional circumstances. It will not be deducted from the employee's paid time off (PTO) balance and will be treated as paid leave. The maximum duration for emergency leave is three consecutive days
