What is a Vacation Leave in COL?
A Vacation leave in Colombia (COL) is an annual leave granted to employees for rest and relaxation after a year of continuous service with their employer. Accrued days can be requested before the 12-month mark. It is intended to promote work-life balance and ensure employees take time to recharge.
As per Colombian law, employees are given 15 business days per year of service for their Vacation leave.
IMPORTANT REMINDER!
- Our recommendation is that you should file your leave no less than 15 days from the date of leave.
- All leaves usage is subject for approval from the your direct manager.
