What is Overtime Pay?
An Overtime Pay must be pre-approved and all requests must be agreed to (in writing) by both you and your manager prior to it being worked on and completed. Once the overtime is completed, the employee must file it within twenty-four (24) hours in FiltaHR and must be approved by the manager.
The only paid OT hours must meet the two requirements:
- Approved by the manager
- Must be verified based on the actual logs.
How do I file for an Overtime Pay?
- Once you have completed your overtime, please follow these steps
- Log in to your FiltaHR account.
- Go to the Time Entries Request tab.
- Choose Overtime Pay as the request type.
- Select the date/s of the completed overtime days
- Indicate the start and end time of your overtime (note: the time is in 30 minutes increment)
- The "Total Approved OT Hours" will automatically generate your number of OT hours
- Add the agreed reason with your manager.
- Click Submit.
Your manager will get an email and can approve or decline your request. If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us!
